Electrical requirements
240V or 208V single-phase: 48A at 240V / 55.5A at 208V, 11,520W, NEMA 6-50 / Direct wired. Olympic specifies a 60A breaker and #6, #4 if circuit longer than 40 ft copper wire. Also available wired 3-phase (32/37A, 40/50A breaker). Rule of thumb: a breaker of about 125% of the kiln's draw — roughly 70A for this model at its highest-amperage voltage. Always confirm the breaker, wire and receptacle with your electrician. Kilns shipping to CA, IL, CT, MN, ME, MA, NH, NY, RI and VT must be equipped with solid-state relays (priced at order).
Warranty
1-year limited manufacturer warranty (Olympic warranty for cone 10 kilns). Elements, thermocouple and kiln furniture are not covered. Contact us for the full warranty terms.
